The tricky part is whether it will be made public in a timely manner or not and, if it’s made public at all, will it be a lede buried in favor of pushing a narrative sold on background by a studio exec he pissed off because he didn’t roll over and take their bullshit.

like not to start something on this fine tuesday morning but if you’ve somehow watched all six seasons eddie diaz has been in and concluded he’s a horrible person and a bad friend and an unlikeable character i fear you’ve not watched the show at all. one of the best things about 911 is that every main character is important to the storyline and is likeable and someone the narrative gets us to invest in. and you’re telling me you watched eddie’s single fatherhood journey and watched him watch his wife die and watched him crawl out from under 40 feet of mud and get shot in the street and survive and you don’t root for him? you see the way he loves christopher and the trust and faith he has in buck when it comes to both looking after his son and looking after eddie himself and your big conclusion there is that eddie is a bad friend? genuinely don’t be silly. like actually don’t be silly. ​don’t ship buck and eddie if you don’t want to but don’t pretend their friendship isn’t a cornerstone of this show and that eddie doesn’t play his role in being part of that core heart of the show. ok rant over.

I HAATEEE when people characterize Kai as being overprotective over Nya dating Jay or him disliking Jay for dating his sister and all that crap. It’s WEIRRRDD

Like ik we have some instances like in the pilot episode where Kai’s like “back off.” But it’s pretty valid since Jay was out here asking if Kai’s kidnapped sister is hot like bro 😭

And then another example is when in Wus tea, where Jay is trying to make Kai angry, he tells him smth along the lines of “taking Nya out on a date” or smth and Kai just fucking blows up. Now that one is like one of the only REAL examples I can remember from the series of Kai acting this way and all I can say is that I’m glad we never got to see that type of characterization on him again because I HATE IT.

Edit: and apparently Wus tea isn’t even cannon so 😭
